DiscJuggler has been known for many years as a professional Compact Disc creation, duplication, and extraction tool available on the market. With recent technological advances the face of DiscJuggler also had to change. In Professional Edition weve added two major features; DVD writing capabilities and a unique feature called Shared Network Writer(s). With the DVD writing capabilities you can write to any DVD-RAM, DVDR, and DVDRW available on the market. Thisenables you to write up to 4.7 gigabytes to one disc that can be opened on any Windows, Mac OS X, Linux, or UNIX system with a DVD-ROM drive.
The Padus engineering team has worked to make sure that all writing drives sold on the market today are supported in our products and technologies, sometimes even before the drives are available for public consumption.
Shared Network Writer(s) is a feature which shares up to two writing drives over the network. After installing DiscJuggler Professional Edition on the host system, the writing drives can be used by any client system on the network. Client systems are able to access the host system through the Padus Network Console and a web interface; available in DiscJuggler Network Edition, DiscJuggler Professional Edition, and DiscJuggler.NET.
In the same way that printers can be shared over the network for more than one computer to use, CD and DVD writing drives can be shared in the same way, in a very simple way. DiscJuggler Professional Edition has a wide-array of features and possibilities.
