If you have enough money, there are the two best solutions:
Buy a Mac and use garageband. if you perfer to stick with windows, get Logic or Logic Express. I have Logic on my iMac, so i am not firmilar with any freeware apps. best of luck with your music! 10 to 2 AM, X, Yogi DMT
And a box of Krispy Kremes, in my \\\"need to know\\\" pose just outside of Area 51 Contemplating the whole \\\"chosen people\\\" thingy when a flaming stealth banana split the sky, like One would hope but never really expect to see in a place like this. If you are in need of a music composing software. I suggest you to try FlexiMusic Composer, which is a music composing, editing and mixing software.

Hi there,
As you know, music software will NEVER produce so good results like music devices do. If you really love music and can spend some money for music, go and buy normal hardware music device. But it may look expensive - good music mixer (Yamaha) will cost you about $3500. If you want to expand it by vinyl player (DJ mixer), add another $4000. Also you will need vinyls, cables, good stereo-phones and other accessories. So everything may cost up to $10.000 But the results will be amazing, believe me |

you can do pretty well with digital equipment however... if you are looking into really high end stuff, try protools; it is used to record live music proformances all the time (if you have a live DVD or CD imade recently, it was probably recorded with protools). It requires a special mixer and a computer I believe, other then that it dosnt need much.
