I am looking for software for both Windows and Linux that can get the caller ID from a cellphone over BlueTooth when a call is received or dialed. I am guessing that software on the cellphone will also have to be installed for this to work

Hm, I didn't get your question. You want your PC to display who is calling to your mobile phone? Pretty much. Except I would prefer that it would allow scripting or atleast a way to trigger a script. For example, I would be watching a show with MythTV (like windows media center) and when a call comes in the show would be paused and the caller's number displayed on the screen. |
