Has anyone had the difficulty that once this virus is found on your computer and you run the removal tool, there is indication by the removal tool that Trojan.Vundo was not found? I am not allowed to delete or quarantine the file. Any suggestions???

I too am having this issue. I initially encountered the issue 3 days ago, where I ran the fixvundo.exe, but it stated it did not find the virus. During this inital run Norton stated that it removed the virus, however 2 days later, Norton has popped up again with a message stating that it's found this virus and was unable to remove. I ran this fixvundo.exe 3 times, including a re-boot in-between the 1st and 2nd times as directed by Symantec, however this still will not go away. My IE is horribly slow and everything I'm reading online is that no one has a fix. If anyone can help us, PLEASE let us know! I just bought my new PC less than 3 months ago and this is more than annoying!
